2003 Lexus ES300
The 2003 Lexus ES300 continued the tradition of being packed with style, comfort
and extra amenities common to all ES300 models but it sits at the top of its class
and was the last ES300 produced after being replaced by the ES330 in 2004. Packed
with an aluminum 3.0L V6 engine that generated 210 of horsepower at 5800 rpm and
220 lbs-ft of torque at 4400 rpm along with a standard 5-speed automatic transmission,
this luxury car features both good handling and performance. This vehicle that
hauls 5 passengers inside recorded a fuel economy data that included 21 mpg on
city and 29 mpg on highway driving.

This year's ES300 came in packed with so many options like the previous ES300s
but was larger in dimension giving it more passenger room. The car also offers
luxury in it's own ways such as a sculpted hood lines, headlight cluster combination
and a dynamic surface tension. Among the options the 2003 ES300 offers was the
Lexus Navigation System that uses a DVD for map storage, which includes multi-language
selection and fast route calculation. This system was offered along with a center-console
mounted six-disc CD auto-changer and a single-disc player in the dash.
Although the 2003 Lexus ES300 were only available in base models, it comes equipped
with loads of features aside from so many options it offered. In the interior,
features such as trip computer, an air conditioning with dual-zone automatic climate
controls and air filter system, a 10-way power driver seat with power lumbar adjustment,
an 8-way power passenger seat, power windows and power door locks and tachometer.
Features such as wood trim, cruise control and tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel
were also standard. When it comes to outside appearance, this ES300 comes with
a power sunroof and automatic-off headlights.
The 2003 ES300 would never be complete without safety features and just like
the others it was packed with loads of it. This aspect includes dual front airbags,
front torso airbags, curtain side airbags, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, fog
lights, daytime running lights and a theft deterrent system. Lots of other optional
equipment were also available including power-adjustable brake, accelerator pedals,
a navigation system operating on a 3-position tilt for better visibility, Mark
Levinson audio with an In-Dash 6-disc CD changer. Consumers can also avail of
options such as leather upholstery, heated front seats, power rear sunshade, chrome
alloy wheels, high-intensity headlights equipped with rain-sensing windshield
wipers and a Vehicle Stability Control antiskid/traction system that includes
full-power brake-assist feature.
Highlighting the features of the 2003 Lexus ES300 are equipments such as an auto-dimming
heated power-adjustable exterior mirrors, outside temperature gauge and ultraviolet
and infrared-reducing tinted glass.
