2004 Lexus Es330

In 2004, the ES300 with a 210-hp 3.0L V6 was replaced by the ES330 with 225-hp
3.3L V6 and a revised 5-speed automatic transmission. It is also built in the
same platform as the ES300, which was patterned in the Camry. Along with the renaming
of the Es300 into ES330, side-impact airbags becomes larger and an improved satellite
navigation system becomes available as an option. Aside from the new name, Lexus
ES330 hadn't changed much except for some equipment details like the standard
4-wheel disc brakes and front torso and head protecting curtain side airbags.
Among the options includes power-adjustable pedals with memory function, an Adaptive
Variable Suspension antiskid/traction control system with driver-selectable shock-absorber
settings, premium Mark Levinson audio, power rear sunshade, CD changer and xenon
headlamps that are packaged with rain-sensing windshield wipers. Although the
2004 Lexus ES330 shares the basic design of Camry and the styling of the 2003
Es300, it offers more enhanced performance with its improved engine and transmission
that promises good handling and riding quality.
