Lexus Es330
In 2004, the Lexus ES300 models were replaced by the ES330, which has a bigger 3.3L V6 engine. This increases
its horsepower to 225 and the torque to 240 foot-pounds. Aside from the improved
engine, the automatic transmission was also enhanced with grade logic software
and was transferred to the front wheels. This sedan offers luxury features that
are somewhat similar to the ES430. Such features include a water-repellent front-door
glass, courtesy lighting in all four doors to light the ground and sills and a
power lumbar adjustments on the front passenger seat. A rear sunshade that automatically
lowers as the transmission shifted into reverse is also a feature of luxury for
this car.

With the ES330's revised and improved engine, it becomes a bit faster than the
ES300 and has achieved the ULEV II (Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle) certification.
It also has achieved a wide torque curve for quick response with a continuous
Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-I) and a three-stage variable intake
manifold. These features were said to be a step for detail checks in pursuit for
perfection according to Lexus's manufacturer and polish their two-model strategy.
The ES330's exterior still remains to resemble a family style but it offers many
features including an improved aerodynamics achieved by a near flat underbody
design which allows air to slip and reduce air turbulence. The ES330 also features
a sound system with Automatic Sound Level (ASL), which adjusts the volume responding
to the noise interfering in the passenger compartment. It was also equipped with
an optional Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) that assists the driver as he/she
maintains control in varied conditions.
